Nestled against a sloping rocky hillside, Monk View House showcases a harmonious blend of timber and structural steel elements. Its defining features include a suspended infinity pool and a sleek, slim-profiled
roof with substantial cantilevers that create striking overhangs for shade while emphasizing its modern aesthetic.

To capture the mountains to the south and north of the home, and Praying Monk rock to the west, sections of the roof are folded up to frame these views. The cantilevered rooflines, supported by minimal columns, enable expansive floor-to-ceiling glass windows, enhancing transparency and seamlessly connecting the interior to the surrounding desert landscape.
