Yury Kulikov speaks at the Buildex Vancouver Exhibit

Join our Associate, Yury Kulikov, at Buildex Vancouver for a panel discussion titled, “Roadmap for Achieving 40% Reduction in Embodied Carbon by 2030”.

Also joining us on the panel include Patrick Enright from the City of Vancouver, Geoffrey Guest from National Research Council Canada, Stacy Smedley from Skanska USA, Matt Dalkie from Lafarge Cement, and Zahra Tshnizi (moderator) from UBC.

Together, we discuss how the building industry can move forward to achieve a 40% reduction in embodied carbon by 2030 to help meet the City of Vancouver’s ambitious target – a goal that has also been recently adopted by the World Green Building Council. This discussion will cover an array of topics relating to embodied carbon, including policy, research, manufacturing, design, construction, data, and tools that can help enable the industry to achieve significant reductions.

The panel takes place on Thursday, February 13 at 11:00am at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.
