Marisa Mulder
Marisa joined Fast + Epp in 2017 and has since become a key contributor to many of the firm’s most technically challenging projects. With specialized expertise in performance-based seismic design and advanced numerical modelling, she brings analytical depth and clarity to each project she undertakes. Her work has been integral to several high-profile and complex structures, including the Cameron Community Centre and Library, the Simon Fraser University Stadium, The Hive, and BCIT’s Tall Timber Student Housing.
Marisa holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Queen’s University and a Master of Applied Science in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from the University of British Columbia. While completing her graduate research, she contributed to UBC’s work on the Ministry of Education’s School Seismic Upgrade Program, providing valuable insight into seismic performance and the practical application of performance-based design.
Marisa’s collaborative leadership and clear technical vision enable her to navigate project teams through demanding design challenges while maintaining a strong focus on quality and project outcomes. Her blend of technical depth, dedication, and team-centered leadership makes her an invaluable part of the Fast + Epp team.
