Centred within the Southlands Market District, The Granary creates a hub of social and recreational living for its residents. The design is rooted in connecting residents to the land and the cycles of food production that surround it, reinforcing the community’s agricultural roots.

Inspired by barns and silos, light wood frame construction is used throughout, with prefabricated wall panels assembled on site.

The gables of the brewery and restaurant are constructed using engineered wood trusses. The facade features exposed glulam posts and beams with thoughtfully designed tight fit pin connections.
