Located on the grounds between the University of British Columbia’s (UBC’s) Point Grey Campus and the University Endowment Lands (UEL), Menno Hall will be a 4 to 6 storey, 11,000 square metre integrated development designed to foster community living within an academic setting.
This innovative and sustainably built project consists of 86 rental housing residences, 101 student housing units, institutional and academic spaces, common areas, a large multi-functional meeting facility, a dedicated concert and meeting hall, a chapel, and stunning outdoor courtyards. The inclusion of mass timber in the structural design will reduce greenhouse gas emissions while simultaneously creating an architecturally stunning and harmonious addition to the surrounding community.
