Utilizing efficiencies in a design-build environment, Fast + Epp worked closely with the contractor and architectural team to develop an efficient, quick-to-erect structural system that would also respond well to the sloping site, accommodate the Owner’s desired form and massing, and eliminate needless transfers and structural complexities

Inspired by lean construction techniques, the planned construction schedule and sequence informed our design focus on the parts of the structure that were to be constructed first, allowing for those to begin while design of other parts of the structure were still being completed, resulting in significant schedule savings.

Slated to open for the start of the school year in fall 2027, the building will be built with sustainable practices – utilizing a geo-exchange system for heating and cooling and an energy efficient design.
