Fast + Epp Announces New Principals

Fast + Epp is pleased to announce the promotion of four of our staff members to Principals.

Each of these individuals has made exceptional contributions to the firm through their leadership, technical excellence, and commitment to our continued growth. Their promotions further strengthen and diversify our leadership team, and we look forward to seeing the impact they will make as they step into these new roles with the same dedication and excellence they have consistently demonstrated at Fast + Epp.

Carla has been with Fast + Epp for 13 years, establishing herself as an expert in technical engineering, particularly in mass timber and hybrid systems. As the Director of R&D in our Concept Lab, she is an exceptional thought leader and an invaluable resource to both our clients, and our internal teams. Her positive attitude and passion for furthering our industry makes her a wonderful leader and an inspiring mentor in the firm.

Pierre has been a part of the Toronto design community for over 25 years, during which his work on numerous landmark projects has shaped a diverse portfolio and deepened his expertise across a wide range of materialities. Since joining Fast + Epp, he has helped the firm grow exponentially on the East Coast, taking on the challenge of opening our Toronto office and helping the firm to grow in this market. His leadership, organizational skills and strategic mindset make him a key contributor to the firm’s continued growth and operational success.

Sarah heads our New York office and has played a pivotal role in expanding Fast + Epp’s U.S. presence since she joined the firm in 2019. She has over 16 years of experience as an engineer in New York, where she has worked on a wide range of residential, higher-education, and cultural projects. Sarah brings a highly collaborative and creative approach to her work and leads her team to do the same.

William is an integral member of the firm, having been with Fast + Epp for over a decade. His strong academic background and extensive international portfolio has led him to take on some of the firm’s most complex projects, demonstrating exceptional technical expertise and team leadership. Having led many departments in his tenure at the firm, he has been a valuable mentor to his peers.
