Inaugural Women’s Day Event at Fast + Epp

We are so grateful for all the incredible contributions made by our women engineers and multiple-hat-wearing professionals at Fast + Epp who are helping create the inspiring spaces where we live, work and play.

Today, on March 8^th, 2022, we hosted our maiden Women’s Day Lunch & Learn presentation put together by Fast + Epp’s EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusivity) Committee.

The theme for this year is #BreakTheBias and with that in mind, we invited some speakers from senior management to share their ideas as a thought experiment on how our industry could shift. Speakers touched upon topics like dedicated mentoring for women in the workplace and recruitment strategies to promote gender equity.

We are committed to continuing these EDI dialogues and are optimistic about a future where inclusive initiatives in the engineering community are sought out and appreciated.
