October 17, 2019

Vancouver, BC, October 17, 2019 – Fast + Epp has been named the lead structural engineer for Walmart’s new Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The office headquarters will be constructed on a 350 acre campus of native seeded greenery and will consist of more than 2.5 million square feet of office and amenity space including a Fitness Center, Child Care Facility and Auditorium. The new buildings will feature ample natural light, and the campus will be connected by paths and bike trails, surrounded by greenery and wetlands.

“Needless to say, we are thrilled to be part of this project, and to be assisting in the building of a campus of this scale with ambitious sustainability goals,” says Paul Fast.

Fast + Epp will be working alongside other experts in the field including executive architect Gensler as well as Miller Boskus Lack Architects and Arup (mechanical/electrical) to develop fully integrated design solutions.

Walmart aims to open the buildings in phases between 2020 and 2024.
