Heinrich Mann School addition in Dietzenbach

July 9, 2019

Located 25 km northeast of Darmstadt, Germany, and designed by H2S architekten, the Heinrich Mann School in Dietzenbach was recently upgraded with the addition of a new storey to expand its number of classrooms.

The school is a comprehensive secondary school with 1250 students, has a centre of excellence in natural sciences, and has received the “MINT-freundliche Schule” award for their mathematics, informatics, natural sciences and technology programs.

Completed in 2018 with construction underway during regular school hours, the new storey consists of timber-frame construction and includes six new classrooms, linked to the lower ones by two staircases and a new elevator.
