Considered the highest recognition for consulting engineering excellence, Fast + Epp is delighted to have been awarded this prestigious honour for its project with Bing Thom Architects.
Partner Gerald Epp attended the October 22 Awards’ Gala in Ottawa, accepting the award on behalf of the firm.
“Architectural, structural and seismic constraints for Surrey Library demanded innovation — from the significant challenge of constructing two-way tilting concrete walls and steel trusses, to the custom design of a unique ductile seismic link to brace the walls. Fast + Epp is honoured to have its work recognized and witness the library’s power to enhance the architectural landscape of BC’s fastest growing city,” Epp said.
