Riley Madu

Riley joined Fast + Epp in 2021 to support the firm’s endeavours in Western and Central Canada. Based in Calgary, he has contributed to a variety of educational, cultural, commercial, and residential projects. His expertise extends across all major structural materials (steel, wood, concrete, masonry), with an extensive portfolio of steel hybrid framed projects that he draws upon to lead our internal Steel Technical Working Group.

His early career in Calgary provided experience across multiple building types and sectors, allowing him to develop a robust understanding of structural systems and practical project delivery. His experience as a project manager has given him a comprehensive understanding of efficient project delivery, which, combined with his technical expertise and collaborative approach, allows him to build strong client relationships and successfully lead complex projects such as the Freedom Mobile Arch and the Yellowknife Aquatic Centre.

Riley earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He holds professional engineer licenses in both Alberta and British Columbia.
