Roof of Frankfurt School assembled in two days

June 19, 2018

The roof of the gymnasium at the Ludwig Weber School in Frankfurt consists of 16m long glulam girders, and cross laminated timber (CLT) panels. The offset frame corners were pre-assembled in the factory with a special connection detail to speed up erection.  The CLT panels span over the roof trusses. The assembly of the roof was completed in only two days thanks to prefabrication.
