Tanya leads daily operations in our New York City office, contributing strong interpersonal skills, her broad perspective for structural engineering, and a commitment to meticulous design.
Since joining Fast + Epp in 2011, Tanya has worked as project manager on several high-profile projects with budgets of up to CAD$145 million. She spent five years at the Vancouver head office before starting our New York branch in 2016.
In 2017, she co-authored and co-edited the Nail-Laminated Timber Design and Construction Guides for the United States and Canada – based partly on her experience as project lead on the 100,000 sq. ft. Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) Head Office, one of the largest contemporary timber buildings in Canada.
In 2000, Tanya graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and completed graduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin, earning a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the structural engineering program in 2005. She then joined the New York-based consulting firm Leslie E. Robertson Associates, where she worked on projects such as the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia and the Langone Medical Center in New York City.
