As the Concept Lab Manager at Fast + Epp, Eytan manages the operations of our structural engineering research and development facility known as Concept Lab – a living laboratory for innovation and design. Eytan is known for his dedication, passion, curiosity, and collaborative spirit, which is exemplified through the mentoring and teaching of others.
Following his graduation from the University of British Columbia (UBC), with a Masters in Engineering, he has gained engineering experience in the design of concrete structures of all sizes and has designed various steel warehouses and light-frame mid-rise structures. Eytan has contributed to the design of several significant projects in the Lower Mainland, including The Post, Oakridge Mall, and Richmond Centre.
Eytan has also been involved in extensive lab testing and research which he performed during his undergraduate tenure at Carleton University and his Masters of Engineering studies at UBC. While at UBC, he primarily focused his research on timber engineering through performing experiments on various innovative timber connections and also became regarded as a trusted assistant for setting up experiments for other researchers.
