We are looking for an Engineer with two-to-four years of experience to be the fourth employee in our growing Seattle Office. We are looking for an individual with a passion for design and who appreciates the growth opportunity of this position. Experience with seismic design, light wood framing, and concrete design is considered beneficial.
Your primary role will be a structural design engineer for all phases of design and construction, handling everything from finite element models to answering RFI’s. You will often collaborate on larger teams and will work closely with project managers. The projects will cover a wide range in terms of size, complexity, and structural materials, and you’ll be asked to contribute to multiple projects at once. You’ll also work with drafting technicians, remotely with head office employees at first, and then with staff in the Seattle Office as our branch grows. This job has the potential to include networking and committee/conference activities.

The salary range for this position depends on experience and qualifications. We believe in measuring results, not counting hours, which means your schedule is flexible.
