Join a growing engineering firm as we find innovative ways to help bring great architecture to life.
Fast + Epp is an award-winning structural engineering firm that prioritizes creativity and simplicity. We work with all materials but are well known for our mass timber and timber-hybrid projects. We love working on architecturally expressive structures, on every scale from single-family homes to large institutional buildings.
We are looking for an Engineer with 3-to-5 years of experience to be the fifth employee in our growing New York Office. We are looking for an individual with a passion for design and who appreciates the growth potential of this opportunity. Experience with complex architectural structures is considered beneficial.
Your primary role will be a project manager for all phases of design and construction. This role includes performing design work, managing junior level engineers as well as project schedule and delivery. You will often collaborate with consultant teams and contractors. The projects will cover a wide range in terms of size, complexity, and structural materials, and you’ll be asked to contribute to multiple projects at once. You’ll also work with drafting technicians, remotely with head office employees at first, and then with staff in New York as our location grows. This job has the potential to include networking and committee/conference activities.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position depends on experience and qualifications. We believe in measuring results, not counting hours, which means your schedule is flexible. Other benefits include comprehensive health coverage, a retirement savings plan, a performance-based bonus, and reimbursement for Continued Education, Professional Societies, and Professional Registrations. Fast + Epp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
