This 5,000 sq. ft. timber structure supports a glazed skylight system over the entrance to a new parkade for the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.  The tilted and facetted pyramidal forms are constructed of shaped Timberstrand moment frames with hidden connectors and steel spacer pipes.  The Timberstrand members are further extended by steel pipes and stainless steel cables to form a 42 ft. long cantilevered truss marking the entrance to the parkade.
