The West Vancouver Aquatic Centre expansion wraps around the existing pool facility and includes a new leisure pool, fitness and change room facilities as well as offices and a new lobby area. The pool addition features exposed curved glulam roof framing supported on shaped glulam 'wishbone' columns and a finely detailed glulam and glass facade. The new fitness area features a separate identity with exposed steel deck and pinned-base steel moment frames.
