This project comprises a 2-storey fitness and leisure pool expansion as well as a partial seismic upgrade to the existing lap pool enclosure and ice rink.  The expansion consists of exposed glulam beams at the roof, and precast double tee framing at the upper floor to support the long spans.  The primary feature of the seismic upgrade are the expressive concrete shear walls within the existing lap pool enclosure which laterally anchor all of the elements within the scope of the expansion and renovation areas.
