Armstrong Arena houses an NHL-size ice rink with 400 person seating capacity. The curved roof form features custom 100 ft. long composite trusses constructed with glulam top chords, steel V-struts and slightly splayed double tension tie cables. Lumber donated by a local mill was used to frame the spans between the trusses as well as the bleacher and exterior wall framing.
