This one-and-a-half-storey firehall was constructed to post-disaster standards. Liquefiable soil conditions required that the building be founded on a raft foundation. The roof structure consists of gently curving glulam beams supporting metal decking, and the floor structure consists of a concrete slab supported by reinforced masonry bearing walls.
