The expressive roof structure comprises 50 ft. long and up to 12 ft. wide stressed-skin plywood panels, each with Parallam edge chords, and with each panel acting as a unique 3-dimensional shell. The panels fan out radially from the back of the building to form the distinctive scallop shell shape. Supporting both the roof panels and a large ocean-facing façade are a series of elliptical-shaped Parallam columns.
