The Centre for Arts and Culture at MacEwan University is a 5-storey, 424,000 sq. ft. building in Edmonton, Alberta that houses a proscenium theatre, black box theatre, recital hall, studio spaces, classrooms, retail spaces, administrative functions, and an underground parkade. A large atrium in the center of the building links the floors, providing circulation space and balcony areas for seating. The structure is primarily reinforced concrete, with spans of up to 20 meters; the roof structure is steel.
