Fast + Epp Frankfurt Awarded its First German University Project

Our Frankfurt office is pleased to announce its collaboration on a three-storey university building in Krefeld, Germany with Cologne-based firm bk2a architektur.

The 6,000 sq. m. Hochschule Niederrhein is Fast + Epp GmbH's first project in the German public sector. The sustainable building is expected to house the School of Industrial Engineering and Management, as well as the new centre for energy efficiency.

Fast + Epp engineers will work closely with bk2a architects to explore new ways to combine concrete and wood materials - a rarity in German public architecture - all the while continuing to develop our strengths in prefabrication and the holistic integration of mechanical ducts and electrical conduits into overall design.
